Genetic Diagnostics
AGD offers a large panel of genetic screens for neurodegenerative diseases (see the Genetic Diagnostics link for more information), and welcomes enquiry into the development of novel mutation analyses for a particular patient or project. We also undertake large scale research or clinical trial genotyping projects.
AGD is a NATA accredited facility (Accred. number 3196) and has strong collaborative ties with neuroscientific research.
DNA Sequencing
We offer an efficient, inexpensive DNA sequencing service that emphasises rapid turnaround and provides feedback to optimise client’s sequencing results. We use ABI3130xl capillary genetic analysers, with BDV3.1 terminators.
Full service sequencing (reaction, column cleanup and electrophoresis) or electrophoresis only (when provided BDV3.1-labelled reactions) are offered, in addition to fragment analysis / genotyping.
